Environmental Health Coalition
Environmental Health Coalition is dedicated to achieving environmental and social justice. EHC believes that justice is accomplished by empowered communities acting together to make social change. The organization organizes and advocates to protect public health and the environment threatened by toxic pollution. EHC supports broad efforts that create a just society and fosters a healthy and sustainable quality of life.
- A La Defensa (Fiscally Sponsored by Tides Foundation)A La Defensa is the Collective Action Fund (CAF) of La Defensa, both of which work to transform California’s punitive systems through public education and community empowerment to decarcerate California and bring loved ones home. A La Defensa acts as a fiscal sponsor for issue-aligned coalitions in the Los Angeles area.
- ACCE InstituteOur mission is to foster transformative community change across California by engaging with low-income residents of all races through ground-up organizing in largely Black and Brown communities. Through leadership development, political education, and strategic issue campaigning, ACCE works to build an equitable and anti-racist society.
- American Civil Liberties Union Foundation (ACLU)In partnership with the American Civil Liberties Union, Inc. (ACLU), the American Civil Liberties Union Foundation engages in a broad range of work to protect civil liberties, including litigation and public education efforts.
- California Environmental Justice Alliance (CEJA) (fiscally sponsored by Environmental Health Coalition)The California Environmental Justice Alliance (CEJA) is a statewide, community-led alliance that works to achieve environmental justice by advancing policy solutions. CEJA unites the powerful local organizing of its members in the communities most impacted by environmental hazards – low-income communities and communities of color – to create comprehensive opportunities for change at a statewide level.
